New coordinates

It has been unduly quiet on this blog, but I had my hands busy organizing my move to Freiburg. Yesterday, I officially started my new position with Carsten Dormann at the Department of Forest Biometry of the University of Freiburg, so once I have settled in I hope my postings will go back to a normal rate. A good motivation should be the course on “research skills” that I will be teaching this semester, which should provide plenty of material for interesting posts.
